Keith Andrews and Tom Eaves have been omitted from Bolton's pre-season tour, with the club hoping to sell them in the coming days.

Wanderers flew out to Sweden on Tuesday, ahead of their first pre-season friendly against Brondby on Thursday evening.

Andrews and Eaves, who both spent the majority of last season away on loan, were expected to link up with the first-team squad for the mini tour of Scandinavia, but have stayed in England in an attempt to push through transfers to other clubs.

Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Andrews, who is thought to be available on a free transfer, with the Owls said to be leading the chase for the former Blackburn Rovers midfielder.

Eaves, meanwhile, is a target for League One side Coventry City, who could be willing to pay a fee in the region of £200,000 for the former Oldham Athletic academy prospect.

Andrews has played just 29 times since joining Wanderers on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2012, while Eaves has made just four senior appearances since moving to the Reebok Stadium in August 2010.
