The contracts of six new Bolton players commence today, after deals at their previous clubs came to an end on Monday night.

Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman moved early to complete the signings of half-a-dozen players during the off-season, with a number of last season's loan stars making permanent moves to the Macron Stadium.

Neil Danns, Liam Feeney, Liam Trotter and Andy Robinson all saw their temporary stints made permanent, all of which were on free transfers, while Ross Fitzsimons and Dorian Dervite also join the club for nothing - from Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic, respectively.

Danns has signed a 12-month contract with the Trotters, as has former Southampton midfielder Robinson. Feeney and Fitzsimons have signed two-year deals with the club, while Trotter and Dervite's contracts will keep them with Wanderers until the summer of 2017.

All six players will report for pre-season training this week and are in contention to face Brondby, when Bolton travel to Denmark on July 10.
