The fixtures for the 2014/15 football season have been revealed and Bolton will begin the new campaign at Watford, on August 9, 2014.

The new season's schedule was released to the public at 9am, with football fans up and down the country desperately searching to see who their club will face on the opening day.

Wanderers will travel to Vicarage Road on the first weekend of the new season, before facing back-to-back home games against Nottingham Forest, on August 16, and Middlesbrough, on August 19.

August comes to a close with two successive away games, at Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United, respectively.

Bolton welcome Blackburn Rovers to the Macron Stadium on Boxing Day, two days before they travel to Huddersfield Town in their last fixture of the calendar year.

The Football League will take a break over the New Year period, due to the third round of the FA Cup, with a home game against Leeds United, on January 10, 2015, the first league action they will see.

Wanderers will play host to Blackpool on Easter Saturday, April 4, 2015, before travelling to Cardiff City 48 hours later.

They will close their campaign, once again, with a home game against Birmingham City, on May 2, 2015. The two sides faced each other on the final day of last season, when a stoppage time goal sealed a 2-2 draw that saw the Blues escape relegation to League One.
