Reports on Wednesday evening suggest Tim Ream has agreed to sign a new three-year contract at Bolton Wanderers.
Coming off the back of a campaign which saw him voted BWFC Player of the Season by Burnden Aces readers, the 26-year-old has reportedly verbally agreed and shook hands on a new deal which will see him stay at the Macron Stadium until the summer of 2017.
Ream's current deal has 12 months left to run and, according to The Bolton News, Wanderers have moved to secure the services of the versatile defender, who was linked with a £4million move to West Bromwich Albion last month.
A new contract has yet to be signed, but Ream is expected to put pen to paper when he returns to the country for pre-season at the end of June.
