Bolton have completed the signing of Andy Robinson on a free transfer from Southampton, on a one-year deal.

Robinson spent the final few weeks of this season on loan at the Reebok Stadium and although he made the bench on a number of occasions, he failed to make a single senior appearance for Dougie Freedman's side.

The 21-year-old, who is a former Saints youth team captain, will be officially announced as a Wanderers player on July 1, when his contract at St Mary's expires.

Robinson, who made his senior debut in September 2012, becomes Bolton's fourth signing of the summer - following Neil Danns, Liam Trotter and Liam Feeney, who, like him, spent time on loan with the Trotters earlier this season.
