Middlesbrough have reportedly set an asking price of £1million for Bolton and Blackburn Rovers target Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Jutkiewicz looks set to leave the Riverside Stadium this summer, despite having 12 months left to run on his Boro contract.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton, scoring seven goals in 20 appearances for Dougie Freedman's side, and is said to be Wanderers' most important transfer target of the window.

Previous reports indicated Boro were looking for a fee in the region of £2million for the former Everton forward, but that has been cut in half according to the Sunday People - who also link Bolton's Lancashire rivals Blackburn with a move for the 25-year-old.

Jutkiewicz lists Swindon Town, Everton, Plymouth Argyle, Huddersfield Town, Motherwell, Coventry City amonst his former clubs and joined Middlesbrough from Coventry in January 2012 for a fee of £1.3million. During his time in Teesside, he has scored 15 goals in 71 appearances.
