Bolton academy graduate Michael O'Halloran is celebrating this evening, after winning the Scottish Cup with St Johnstone.
O'Halloran progressed through the youth system at the Reebok Stadium, turning professional in 2011, but made just two senior appearances for the Wanderers first team - in a spell which included loan spells at Sheffield United, Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers.
He was granted a release from his contract last summer, after a deal was struck to allow him to join St Johnstone.
In his debut campaign in Scotland, he has helped his new club record a 6th place finish in the Scottish Premiership and played 73 minutes in Saturday's 2-0 cup final victory over Dundee United at Celtic Park.
In total, O'Halloran has made 19 appearances for St Johnstone this campaign and has scored two goals.
