Bolton will decide this week whether to offer deals to out-of-contract wingers Liam Feeney and Chris Burke.

Feeney's contract at Millwall expires on June 30, while Burke's deal at Birmingham City comes to an end on the same day, but Wanderers face tough competition as they are one of a number of clubs interested in both players.

Burke is reported to be Dougie Freedman's number one target to replace Chris Eagles at the Reebok Stadium, with Birmingham's financial troubles preventing them from matching his current demands. The 30-year-old was one of the Blues' standout performers this season, scoring six goals in 49 appearances, and is also said to be courting interest from the likes of Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.

Feeney, meanwhile, is set to leave Millwall after three years at The Den. He played four games during a brief loan spell at Bolton early in the campaign, before playing six times for Blackburn Rovers in the final two months of the season in another loan stint away from his parent club.

Rovers are thought to be keen on signing the former Bournemouth winger on a permanent deal, which may prompt Wanderers into action, although their sights are set on Burke at this moment in time.
