Adam Bogdan is one of four contenders for the Championship's April Player of the Month award.

Bogdan missed three-and-a-half months of the season, between October and February, after suffering a knee ligament injury in training, and has hit his best form since returning to the side - as Wanderers have embarked on a run which has seen them lose just two of their last 15 games.

The Hungary international conceded just three times in Bolton's six league games in April, keeping three clean sheets in the process, and is on course to claim the award for the first time in his career.

The 26-year-old faces stiff competition from Millwall's Nicky Bailey, Blackburn Rovers' Rudy Gestede and Burnley's Jason Shackell.

As for the Manager of the Month award, the four nominees are Burnley's Sean Dyche, Brighton & Hove Albion's Oscar Garcia, Millwall's Ian Holloway and Leicester City's title winning boss, Nigel Pearson.

The winners will be announced on Friday.
