Reports linking Tim Ream with a £4million move to West Bromwich Albion are false, according to the player's agent - Patrick McCabe.

Speculation on Tuesday linked with United States international with a summer move to the Hawthorns, with Baggies scouts said to have been monitoring his progress in recent weeks.

The 26-year-old spent a week on trial with the Premier League side, prior to his arrival at the Reebok Stadium in January 2012, but McCabe says talk of fresh interest in the player is merely a thing of fiction.

"I'm not aware of any potential bid from West Brom or scouts watching him, but this is quite normal," McCabe told MLSSoccer.com.

"Tim is quite settled at Bolton and really likes playing for Dougie Freedman. He is focused on playing weekly and finishing the season in good form."

Since joining Bolton, Ream has made a total of 72 appearances - 40 of which have come this season. His contract runs until the summer of 2015.
