Jeremy Simpson will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Huddersfield Town and Bolton at the John Smith's Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic on Saturday, while Huddersfield drew 1-1 at Reading on the same afternoon.

Simpson, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 28 matches so far this season - issuing 83 yellow cards and five red.

His last outing was on March 22, when he was the man in the middle for AFC Wimbledon's 4-3 victory over Cheltenham Town in League Two. The Lancashire official produced seven yellow cards in that game.

Simpson has never previously taken charge of a Bolton fixture, but has refereed a Huddersfield game. That was in October 2013, when the Terriers played out a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium. Two yellow cards were shown that evening, both of which were shown to the away side.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Huddersfield and Bolton:

Referee: Jeremy Simpson
Assistant Referees: Christopher Akers, Richard Wigglesworth
Fourth Official: Mark Dwyer
