Bolton Extend Hutton Loan

Bolton have extended the loan of Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton until the end of the season.

Hutton has spent the last month at the Reebok Stadium, but looked set to return to Villa Park following Saturday's 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic.

Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman last week confirmed he was negotiating a fresh deal, with the player's wages seemingly too high, and those talks have been successful - with the Scotland international set to stay at the club until the end of the campaign.

The 29-year-old has played five times during his brief time at Bolton and has already established himself as first-choice right-back, having taken the place of Alex Baptiste.
