Bolton have completed the signing of Southampton midfielder Andy Robinson, on a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.
Robinson has been with the Saints since the age of eight and captained them at youth level, before a series of long-term injury problems stalled the progress on his promising young career.
The 21-year-old has made one senior appearance for Southampton, against Sheffield Wednesday in September 2012, and impressed Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman during a recent trial and outing for the development squad.
Speaking about the capture of his latest signing, Freedman said: "We've been looking at him for a while now. He's a good young player who has been brought up in a fantastic system.
"I've watched him play in the reserves for Southampton for some time now and we know all about him. He's a different type to some of the midfielders we've currently got."
