Ahead of Bolton's first ever league trip to Yeovil Town on Saturday, we take a look back at their only previous visit to Huish Park.
In the latest edition to the Burnden Aces website, we jump on the #ThrowbackThursday bandwagon and take a look back at a day which lives long in the memory of Wanderers supporters around the world.
Last week, we went back to March 2013 and a 1-0 Wanderers victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. This week, we go back to September 21, 2004 and Bolton's 2-0 win over Yeovil in the League Cup.
Beaten finalists in the previous campaign, Wanderers began the journey again with a potential banana skin against League Two opposition.
Lee Johnson and Andrejs Stolcers came close for the home side, but late goals from Julio Cesar and Henrik Pedersen sent Sam Allardyce's side into the third round - where they would come up against and be beaten by Tottenham Hotspur.
