Lukas Jutkiewicz has issued a 'come and get me' plea to Bolton, by saying he would love to extend his stay at the Reebok Stadium.

Jutkiewicz will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Trotters, after previously falling out of favour at his parent club - Middlesbrough.

The 24-year-old has struck four goals in nine appearances since linking up with Wanderers in January, eclipsing his tally of just two goals in his last 24 appearances for Boro.

Having settled into his new surroundings, Jutkiewicz, who has another season remaining on his contract at the Riverside Stadium, says he would be delighted if Bolton and Middlesbrough could reach some sort of arrangement that would see him remain at the club beyond the summer.

"I have not had any talks yet," Jutkiewicz told The Bolton News. "I leave the talking to everyone else to be honest.

"But I am enjoying it here and would love to stay here for longer than my loan period.

"Straight away I felt comfortable at Bolton and it feels like a good place for me. I would really like to organise something that will allow me to stay for longer.

"I am here until the end of the season so hopefully we can sort something out to make it go longer.

"The Bolton fans have been supportive since day one and made me feel welcome.

"I have always been a team player to be honest. Adulation is not something I crave in the slightest but at the same time people have made me feel welcome and I appreciate that."
