Fabrice Muamba will hit the airwaves on Thursday night, when he appears as a guest on Bolton FM's midweek sports show.
Muamba will appear on the station - which can be found at boltonfm.com or 96.5FM - between 8pm and 10pm in what could prove to be the first of many regular appearances.
The 25-year-old, who retired from professional football in 2012, is currently studying a media studies degree and aims to take advantage of radio and television outlets in order to pursue a career in the industry further down the line.
Speaking to The Bolton News, Bolton FM's Andrew Dickson said: "It's quite a coup to get Fabrice. He's doing media studies and wants to link up with us as part of it.
"He will be discussing Bolton Wanderers, local and national football as a guest on Thursday with a view to being a regular contributor."
