Marvin Sordell is 90 minutes away from realising a dream - playing at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup.

Sordell has been on loan at Charlton Athletic all season and, despite struggling to hold down a regular place in the Addicks team, his side are the overwhelming favourites to beat Sheffield United and book a semi-final place at the national stadium in April.

The former England under-21 international played just two games in February, starting against Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City respectively. He was on the scoresheet at the DW Stadium, taking his tally to three for the campaign, but hasn't featured since that defeat to the Blues on February 8.

Elsewhere, Craig Davies has settled into life at Preston North End since moving to Deepdale on January's transfer deadline day. The former Barnsley forward has made five appearances for Simon Grayson's side, scoring two goals. He netted on his debut for the Lilywhites, just 24 hours after joining the club, and was also on the scoresheet in their 3-3 draw with Rotherham United on Tuesday night.

Cian Bolger's loan at Southend United was cut short after just 79 minutes of playing action, as he returned to the Reebok Stadium with an ankle ligament injury, while Keith Andrews, Tom Eaves, Conor Wilkinson and Sanmi Odelusi are all struggling at their respective loan clubs.

Andrews started the season as one of Brighton & Hove Albion's most in-form players, but has struggled with injury and a lack of form since the turn of the year. The Republic of Ireland international played three games in February, two of which were in the FA Cup, and he hasn't played a minute of league football since February 2.

Eaves found the net in Shrewsbury Town's 1-1 draw with Brentford on February 1, taking his tally for the season to three. That was one of four games he played this month, three of which were from the start.

Wilkinson has made two starts and one substitute appearance for Torquay United without scoring a goal, while Odelusi made his debut as a 79th minute substitute in MK Dons' 1-0 defeat at Bradford City on February 22.
