An admin error sent Bolton fans into a frenzy on Saturday afternoon, when Dougie Freedman was listed as (Acting) Manager on the club's official team sheet.

Prior to the club's Championship game with Bournemouth, which ended in a 2-2 draw, supporters began speculating about the future of the Wanderers boss when the team sheet went public around 45 minutes before kick-off.

The club's response was that they accidentally used an old template, last used in October 2012 when Jimmy Phillips took charge of a 3-2 victory over Bristol City.

Freedman has been in charge at the Reebok Stadium for nearly 16 months and Saturday's draw with the Cherries was his 70th game in the hotseat. During that time, the Trotters have won 23, drawn 24 and lost 23 - giving him an overall win percentage of 32.9%.

During his time at Crystal Palace, the former Eagles player won 32 of his 92 games in charge - drawing 28 and losing 32 - giving him a win percentage of 34.8%.

He seems to retain the support of the Bolton board, chairman Phil Gartside and owner Eddie Davies, but this apparent admin error appears to have played into the hands of disgruntled supporters - with sections of the crowd calling for Freedman's sacking after the draw with the Cherries.
