Swansea City have completed the signing of Bolton forward David Ngog for an undisclosed fee.
Ngog had been at the Reebok Stadium since making a £4million move from Liverpool in the summer of 2011, but his contract was due to expire at the end of the season and Trotters boss Dougie Freedman was keen to rid the player's wages from his budget.
The 24-year-old has signed a six-month contract at the Liberty Stadium and is expected to provide competition for Wilfried Bony, Alvaro Vazquez and Michu in the Swans' attack.
The Frenchman scored three times in his final four games for Wanderers, but his overall record of just 16 goals in 91 appearances means he will end his time at the club labelled as a disappointment.
Ngog could make his debut when Michael Laudrup's side play host to Fulham in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
