Swansea City have re-entered the race to sign David Ngog from Bolton in the January transfer window.

News that the Swans were interested in the former Liverpool forward broke in September, and boss Michael Laudrup is believed to be back in for the 24-year-old - who is out-of-contract at the end of the season.

Ngog was linked with a move to French side Evian on Tuesday, although the prospect of a move to the Premier League may tempt him more, after recently turning down a switch to Turkish side Bursaspor.

Since joining Bolton from Liverpool in the summer of 2011, Ngog has played 90 times for the Trotters and has scored just 16 goals.
