French club Evian have made an offer to loan wantaway Bolton forward David Ngog until the end of the season.

Ngog is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and looks set to leave Wanderers, prompting speculation that he could be moved on during the January transfer window if a suitable offer is made.

He recently turned down a move to Turkish side Bursaspor, but has previously stated his desire to return to France - where he began his career with Paris Saint Germain.

Evian are reportedly interested in taking the 24-year-old on loan for the remainder of his Bolton contract, before making the deal permanent in the summer. However, as things stand, a fee has yet to be agreed between the two clubs.

Ngog has scored three goals in his last four games for the Trotters, taking his tally to 16 in 90 appearances since a £4million move from Liverpool in the summer of 2011.
