Andy Davies will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Reading and Bolton Wanderers at the Madejski Stadium.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend, while the Royals were 1-0 winners at Watford on the same day.
Davies, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 18 matches so far this season - issuing 71 yellow cards and three red.
His last outing was on January 8, when he was the man in the middle for Bristol Rovers' 2-1 victory at Crawley Town in the FA Cup. The Hampshire official produced one yellow card in that game.
Davies has never previously officiated a match involving either Bolton or Reading. Saturday's meeting between the two sides will be only the third time he has took charge of a Championship fixture.
