Neil Danns has returned to Bolton, signing on loan at the Reebok Stadium until the end of the season.

Danns recently made 13 appearances during a three-month stint with Wanderers, scoring four goals, but returned to Leicester City following the Boxing Day victory at Barnsley.

The 31-year-old has failed to make the Foxes matchday squad since his return to the King Power Stadium and manager Nigel Pearson admitted he would speak to the player regarding his future at the club.

After those talks reached a conclusion, the popular Danns has returned to Bolton and will be eligible to feature in all competitions between now and the end of the campaign - including any play-off fixtures, should Dougie Freedman's side make the top-six.

He is in contention to make his second debut when Wanderers play host to Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
