Mark Davies has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in the New Year's Day draw with Middlesbrough.

Davies, who was making just his fifth appearance since coming back from a 10-month injury layoff, showed his quality in the Wanderers midfield as he looks to get back to the form that made him a favourite with supporters in the stands.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder saw off competition from Alex Baptiste and Lee Chung-Yong to claim the award, after they finished in second and third respectively.
