Simon Hooper will referee Saturday's FA Cup tie between Bolton and Blackpool at the Reebok Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough on New Year's Day, while Blackpool were beaten 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on the same afternoon.

Hooper, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 19 matches so far this season - issuing 75 yellow cards and two red.

His last outing was on January 1, when he was the man in the middle for Brighton & Hove Albion's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth at the AMEX Stadium. The Wiltshire official produced three yellow cards in that game.

Hooper's last match in charge of Bolton was in December 2012, when Wanderers were 3-1 winners over Birmingham City at the Reebok. Four yellow cards were shown that day, as well as one red - to the Blues' Nikola Zigic.

The last time he refereed a Blackpool fixture was on November 30, 2013, when they were 2-0 winners over Sheffield Wednesday at Bloomfield Road. Five yellow cards were issued in that game.
