With 2013's Championship fixtures over and done with, take a look at the league table for the entire calendar year.

30 teams played in England's second tier in 2013, with 18 of them part of the division for the 12-month duration.

Cardiff City, Hull City and Crystal Palace swapped places with relegated Premier League sides Wigan Athletic, Reading and Queens Park Rangers, while promotion from League One saw Doncaster Rovers, Bournemouth and Yeovil Town take the places of Peterborough United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bristol City.

Bolton picked up 62 points from their 44 games in 2013, a total only seven teams could beat, but the league table provided below is ordered on a 'Points Per Game' basis - giving an average number of points per game played by each side.

Using this method, Wanderers finish the year in 13th position - averaging 1.41 points per game. To compare, Queens Park Rangers top the table with an average of 1.87 points per game.

In the second half of 2012/13, Dougie Freedman's side averaged 1.71 points per game - a total only bettered by Brighton & Hove Albion, who would go on to sack manager Gus Poyet at the end of the campaign.

Interestingly, Cardiff were the only promoted side to claim a top-six position (5th) - with an average of 1.62 points per game. Hull (12th) averaged 1.48, while play-off winners Crystal Palace (17th) managed 1.33. Peterborough, who were relegated to League One, averaged 1.52 points per game between January and May - putting them in 8th place.

Despite Bolton's impressive first-half of 2013, their form dipped alarmingly in the second. The 1.71 points they averaged in the second half of the previous campaign dipped to 1.13 points per game this term, seeing them slide 11 places - to 13th.

Only six teams - Derby County (76), Watford (76), Leicester City (72), Brighton & Hove Albion (65), Nottingham Forest (60) and Birmingham City (59) - scored more than Wanderers' 57 goals, but the 54 they conceded was only better than eight sides - Millwall (74), Barnsley (70), Middlesbrough (68), Huddersfield Town (62), Birmingham City (56), Blackburn Rovers (56), Watford (55) and Charlton Athletic (55).
