Dougie Freedman says Bolton have received no offers for David Ngog, but admits the player faces a big decision over his future.

Reports on Tuesday suggested the former Liverpool forward was a £1million target for Turkish side Bursaspor. Freedman says two enquiries have been made regarding the 24-year-old, but he has yet to receive an official offer.

Ngog's Wanderers contract expires at the end of the campaign and after finding himself out of the first-team picture in recent weeks, Freedman says the time has come for the player to make a decision on his future.

"There's always going to be speculation when players are out of the team," Freedman told the club's official website. "We've had no official offers, but we have had two enquiries.

"I have explained to David that he finds himself out of the team because he is out of form.

"David is a good player and he has a part to play, but right now he has lost his form and is out of the team. He has to accept that and do something about it.

"Naturally, some players move on and some players dig deep - David will decide what he wants to do.

"We feel David has got to make that decision. Does he want to fight for his place or does he want to move on?"
