Bolton play their final home game of 2013 on Saturday, when Charlton Athletic are the visitors to the Reebok Stadium.

After losing to Huddersfield Town at the start of the month, Wanderers recorded a 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers before losing 3-2 at Wigan Athletic last weekend. They will be hoping for a similar result to their last home outing, with Charlton without a win at the Reebok since August 2002.

Dougie Freedman has mixed selection news, with two loanees set to play their final home games for the club. Kevin McNaughton and Neil Danns will return to their parent clubs in the next week and although they will both be available for the Boxing Day trip to Barnsley, Wanderers' next home game isn't until New Year's Day.

One positive for the Trotters boss is the return of Mark Davies. Davies played the closing stages of last weekend's defeat at the DW Stadium and is in contention for a starting role, although Freedman has confirmed he will not be fit to play a full 90 minutes.

Andre Moritz could start ahead of Davies, having netted in each of his last two games. Danns also holds that record and will be looking to end his stay at the Reebok in style.

Joe Mason should retain his place in attack, with Lee Chung-Yong, Darren Pratley and Jay Spearing being part of a five-man midfield that also includes Danns and Moritz.

Alex Baptiste endured a tough afternoon last time out but is expected to keep his place at left-back, as he continues to play in an unchanged back four which also features Matt Mills, Tim Ream and McNaughton. Andy Lonergan will continue to deputise for the injured Adam Bogdan in goal.

As well as Bogdan, Wanderers will be without Stuart Holden, Joe Riley and Marc Tierney.

Charlton boss Chris Powell will be without the services of loan forward Marvin Sordell for the long trip north, as he is ineligible to play against the Trotters under the terms of his move to The Valley.

The Addicks will also be without Ben Hamer and Johnnie Jackson, who are missing through injury and suspension, respectively.

Leon Cort is out with a knee injury, but Chris Solly is back in contention after recovering from a knee problem of his own.
