Reports on Tuesday suggest David Ngog is the subject of a £1million transfer offer from Turkish side Bursaspor.
Ngog joined Bolton from Liverpool for a fee of around £4million in the summer of 2011, but has failed to live up to his price tag at the Reebok Stadium - scoring just 13 times in 86 appearances.
He has scored just once in 15 appearances this campaign and, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman could be tempted into a sale.
The 24-year-old has previously been linked with a return to France, but could now be on his way to Turkey - with reports suggesting he could be granted permission to hold talks in the coming days.
Bolton Wanderers have denied the rumours, but, with the January transfer window just two weeks away, speculation over the player's future looks set to pick up over the next month.
