Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is aiming for victory at Wigan Athletic on Sunday, with more than 4,000 Wanderers fans due at the DW Stadium.

After a 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers last weekend, the Trotters make the short trip across Lancashire at the weekend to face a Latics side managed by Uwe Rosler for only the second time.

Wigan were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League after losing 2-1 at Maribor on Thursday night, so Sunday's game represents Rosler's first league game in charge.

Speaking ahead of the match, Freedman says he has approached the game like any other and is looking to leave the DW with three points - especially after being boosted by the returns of both Mark Davies and Josh Vela.

"We have good news that Josh Vela and Mark Davies will be available for selection this weekend," Freedman told the club's official website.

"We have taken advice from the medical staff and they are at 95% now so we have a couple of additions to the first team squad.

"We have 4,000 fans coming across with us to Wigan and we are looking forward to the game. We are in good form apart from a couple of hiccups but they rose to the challenge against Doncaster.

"We are in good spirits and we can't wait for Sunday's game.

"They have a new manager and they are playing in front of their home crowd so the Wigan support will be fully behind their team. However, what it boils down to is that the players have to cross the white line and they are the ones that have to turn up.

"We have been very good on the road as of late and we are looking nice and strong at the back. We are attacking with good flair and we need to make sure we continue with the right results.

"Before the Middlesbrough result we were going well and overall it was a close game. We have to make sure we turn up at Wigan and once the whistle goes it is our job to put our game plan into action."
