Medo Kamara's free-kick against Ipswich Town has been voted as Bolton's Goal of the Month for October.

With Jermaine Beckford closing down on goal, he was brought to the ground and Medo stepped up to take responsibility for the free-kick. 25 yards from goal, the Sierra Leone international got his effort up and over the Town wall and found the bottom corner of Dean Gerken's net.

Medo saw off competition from two separate Beckford strikes, against Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City, respectively, to claim the award. Below are the full results of our poll:

49.09% - Medo Kamara v Ipswich Town
32.73% - Jermaine Beckford v Sheffield Wednesday
14.55% - Jermaine Beckford v Birmingham City
  3.64% - Neil Danns v Birmingham City

Medo's strike will now enter our annual Goal of the Season poll, in May. Also in the running for that award are Alex Baptiste's goal against Derby County and Sanmi Odelusi's second goal in August's Capital One Cup win at Shrewsbury Town.
