Bolton duo Marvin Sordell and Keith Andrews were both on the scoresheet on Tuesday night, as they helped their respective loan clubs to 1-1 draws.
While Wanderers were struggling to find a breakthrough in a goalless draw at Blackpool, both Sordell and Andrews found the net to earn their sides a point in Championship action.
At The Valley, Sordell, who had just one Capital One Cup goal to his name so far this season, struck five minutes into the second half as Charlton Athletic earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest. Andy Reid had given Billy Davies' side a third minute lead in London, but Sordell's first league goal of the season helped keep the Addicks out of the bottom three.
Elsewhere, at the AMEX Stadium, Andrews scored a late tap-in to deny Sheffield Wednesday their first win of the campaign. Matty Fryatt's 43rd minute goal looked set to give Dave Jones' side an unlikely away victory, but the on-loan Wanderers midfielder struck in the final minute of normal time to claim a point for Oscar Garcia's men.
Both Sordell and Andrews completed the full 90 minutes in their respective games, while the latter was also shown a yellow card - his second of the season.
