Scott Mathieson will referee Tuesday's Championship fixture between Bolton Wanderers and Derby County at the Reebok Stadium.

Following Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Leeds United, Wanderers have made their worst start to a season in half a century. Dougie Freedman's side play host to the Rams, who have won all four of their away games so far this campaign.

Mathieson, who will take charge of the game, has refereed four matches this season, issuing nine yellow cards in the process. His last outing was on Saturday afternoon, when he was the man in the middle for MK Dons' 3-1 victory over Notts County in a League One fixture at stadium:mk. Four yellow cards were brandished on that afternoon.

The Cheshire official last officiated a Bolton game on Boxing Day last year, when Wanderers were beaten 1-0 by Sheffield Wednesday. Just the one caution was issued that day, as Wednesday spoilt the Christmas cheer at the Reebok.

The last time Mathieson refereed a Derby fixture was on December 8th, 2012, as Nigel Clough's side claimed a 3-1 win over Leeds United at Pride Park. Jeff Hendrick, Will Hughes and Ben Davies were all booked for the home side.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Bolton and Derby:

Referee: Scott Mathieson
Assistant Referees: Alan Clayton, Robert Jones
Fourth Official: Paul Hodskinson
