The summer transfer window has come to a close. Let's take a look back at the business Bolton completed over the last two months.

Deadline day passed by without incident for disappointed Wanderers supporters, but the club did manage to complete the signings of nine players during the window.

Dougie Freedman started by bringing young duo Hayden White and Conor Wilkinson to the club from Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall, respectively, before opting to turn Robert Hall's loan move into a permanent deal. A tribunal would later reveal Wanderers would pay West Ham United £450,000 for his services, although that could later rise to as high as £1.4million based on a number of add-on clauses.

Experienced defenders Alex Baptiste and Marc Tierney were next to follow, after their respective deals at Blackpool and Norwich City came to an end. Baptiste, who was captain at Bloomfield Road, was signed as a right-back, while Tierney came in to occupy the opposite side of defence.

Gary Fraser would then join from Scottish First Division side Hamilton Academical, before being sent out on loan to Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle.

Jermaine Beckford was next, in a move that could eventually see Bolton pay £1million to Leicester City, before Andre Moritz, who had left Crystal Palace at the end of June, came in to link up with his former Eagles manager.

The final incoming deal of the window saw Wanderers complete the permanent signing of last year's Player of the Season, Jay Spearing. The 24-year-old had been deemed surplus to requirements by Liverpool, and moved to the Reebok Stadium for a fee of around £1.5million.

That means Bolton have brought in a total of nine players over the summer, with combined fees thought to be in the region of £3million - potentially rising, in the future, to as much as £4million.
