James Adcock will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Queens Park Rangers.

Wanderers host Harry Redknapp's side at 12:15, in a match that will be televised live by Sky Sports. It will be the first meeting between the two clubs since March 2012 - when goals from Darren Pratley and Ivan Klasnic gave Owen Coyle's Trotters side a controversial win at the Reebok Stadium.

Adcock, who will take charge of the 27th meeting between the sides, has refereed two matches so far this season. His last outing was on August 10th, as Watford thrashed Bournemouth 6-1 at Vicarage Road. He brandished three yellow cards on that afternoon, while also awarding the Hornets a late penalty.

The last time he officiated a Wanderers match was in February 2013, in a game that was also played at Vicarage Road - as Dougie Freedman's side were beaten 2-1. Six yellow cards were shown that day, four to Bolton players, while another penalty was awarded - this time to the visitors, which was converted by Marvin Sordell. Bolton fans unable to attend the match will be keeping a keen eye on the scores live at Scores.co.uk.

Adcock has never previously refereed a QPR fixture.
