Keith Andrews made his Brighton & Hove Albion debut on Saturday, as a late substitute in a 2-1 defeat to Derby County.

Andrews was confirmed as a Seagulls player on the morning of the game, although the deal had been concluded on Friday in order for him to be eligible for selection against the Rams.

With Brighton trailing to a Chris Martin brace, Andrews was introduced as a 71st minute substitute for Ashley Barnes. The change failed to produce any positive results for Oscar Garcia's side, however, as they suffered a rare home defeat at the AMEX Stadium.

Elsewhere, Marvin Sordell played 77 minutes as Charlton Athletic were beaten at home by Middlesbrough. Lukas Jutkiewicz's 72nd minute strike proved to be the difference between the two sides at The Valley, as Tony Mowbray's side picked up their first win of the campaign.

After missing the midweek cup victory over Ayr United, Gary Fraser returned to the Partick Thistle side as they maintained their unbeaten start to the Scottish Premiership season with a 3-1 win at Ross County.

Fraser played the full 90 minutes at Victoria Park, as Thistle look to spring a surprise on the top-flight in their first season after winning promotion.
