Bolton Wanderers have confirmed they have taken sole ownership of the club's on-site hotel.

Located in the Reebok Stadium's south stand, the hotel was previously a joint venture between the club and De Vere Venues - operating under the name De Vere Whites.

Under a new agreement, which will see the hotel rebranded as the Bolton Whites Hotel, Wanderers will take full control of the company and run it as a seperate entity under the club's brand. The move will also see Heathcotes provide catering for the hotel and matchday outlets.

Speaking about the new venture, Bolton Wanderers COO, Bradley Cooper, said: "This move makes sense to all involved. We've been able to reach an agreement with De Vere to take sole ownership of the hotel."

Suzanne Speak, hotel general manager of the newly named Bolton White Hotel, said: "This new venture will allow us to significantly improve our customers' experiences. Our focus will very much be on service excellence and maximising the potential of this unique venue."

Paul Heathcote, a two-Michelin star chef, founder of Heathcote and lifelong Wanderers supporter, said: "Being a fan of the club, this is a dream come true. I look forward to working with the club I have supported since I was a boy."

The club's latest venture is the latest in a series of developments at the Reebok Stadium within the last 12 months. This week, club crests which have featured on the main stand of the ground have been removed and are set to be replaced before the weekend. The long-awaited Nat Lofthouse statue will be unveiled to supporters on August 27th, and work on a proposed £100million redevelopment of the stadium and surrounding areas is expected to begin in the next couple of years.
