Jermaine Beckford's move to Bolton has moved one step closer after Wanderers agreed a fee with Leicester City.
Trotters boss Dougie Freedman has been keen to sign the 29-year-old for a number of weeks, but was left frustrated in his attempts as he failed to reach an agreement with the Foxes.
However, Wanderers have now agreed a fee in the region of £1million for the former Leeds United forward, who is seemingly surplus to requirements at the King Power Stadium.
Talks between the club and Beckford's representatives are due to take place this week, with reports suggesting a two-year contract is on the table.
