Marcos Alonso has been voted as Bolton's Man of the Match in Saturday's goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

Alonso was impressive form yet again at Selhurst Park, with his recent run in the Wanderers first team proving to be his most successful spell since joining the club in 2010.

He wins the award for the second successive Championship outing, following on from the 1-1 draw with Millwall the weekend prior to the game at Palace.

The former Real Madrid defender saw off competition from the much improved Tim Ream, while Chris Eagles and Lee Chung-Yong tied in third place.
