Bolton play host to Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day and we have got the views of an Owls supporter ahead of the game.

Following an incredible 5-4 defeat at Peterborough United on Saturday, Wanderers will be looking to bounce back and secure their first league double of the season - after a 2-1 win over Wednesday in September's reverse fixture.

Ahead of the Boxing Day clash, we have spoken to edinburghowl from owlstalk.co.uk. In this edition of Q&A, he shares his views on Wednesday's struggle against relegation and Bolton's biggest danger man, as well as a score prediction.

Q: Sheffield Wednesday currently occupy 21st place in the Championship, at the halfway stage of the season. How has the first half been for you?

A: It has been worse than I could possibly have imagined. Never in a million years did I think we would be involved in a relegation scrap.

We're probably slightly worse off, points-wise, than we should be, but we're still deservedly at the wrong end of the table. We will survive, but I expected us to kick on and be comfortable in mid-table.

Q: After 23 games, where do you think the club will be at the end of the season?

A: About 18th.

Q: Wanderers lost 5-4 to bottom of the table Peterborough in their last match. Do you think promotion could still be a possibility for the Trotters?

A: I doubt it. I think mid-table mediocrity beckons.

Q: Chris O'Grady is currently the Owl's top scorer, with 6 goals in all competitions. Who else should the Wanderers be wary of on Boxing Day?

A: I honestly wouldn't pick O'Grady as one to look out for. He's hard working and an honest lad, but he's not anywhere close to being our best player.

Reda Johnson will be a massive danger for you at set pieces. If you're uncomfortable defending them, then you're in trouble.

Michail Antonio has pace to burn and causes every player he comes up against problems. Jermaine Johnson, on his day, can be a handful too.

Q: Which Bolton player do you think Dave Jones will be earmarking as a potential threat to the Owl's goal?

A: Chris Eagles was the only player that impressed me at Hillsborough, so him. To be honest, I thought you were pretty mediocre - despite the fact you won.

Q: Last time the Trotters and the Owls met, Wanderers ran out 2-1 winners. What do you think the final score will be at the Reebok on Wednesday?

A: 1-2 - Reda Johnson and Gary Madine with the goals for Wednesday.

Burnden Aces would like to thank edinburghowl for volunteering to answer our questions. You can read more views from the Sheffield Wednesday fans by checking out our Q&A thread at owlstalk.co.uk.
