Tom Eaves will return to Bolton when his loan deal at Bristol Rovers expires at midnight on Saturday.

Eaves has spent the last three months at the Memorial Stadium and has made a positive impact for the League Two side, having scored seven goals in 16 games for the club.

He has yet to make a single senior appearance for Bolton, but newly appointed Rovers manager John Ward has confirmed he will return to the Reebok Stadium following Saturday's match at Cheltenham Town.

"Tom Eaves we have for two more games but Bolton are going to ask him to go back up, which is their prerogative, but we have got him for those two matches.

"Tom wants to play and wants to be here, so I have no worry about putting him in for those two games."
