Bolton's hopes of winning the Under 18s Premier League are over after Reading claimed the title with a 5-3 victory at Arsenal on Saturday morning.

Needing a win to have any chance of winning the championship, Bolton's game against West Bromwich Albion was postponed due to a frozen pitch. That meant Reading would win the league with a win of their own, irrespective of what Wanderers did in their rearranged fixture.

A first half hat-trick from Liam Kelly set the Royals on their way to victory, as their impressive return of 35 points from a possible 42 saw them named champions of the National Group 1.
