Bolton forward Michael O'Halloran has joined Tranmere Rovers on a loan deal which will run until January 6th, 2013.

The Scotland under-21 international has previously enjoyed spells at Sheffield United and Carlisle United, and joins a club that currently top League One.

Rovers boss Ronnie Moore admits to seeing the Wanderers forward play on multiple occasions and he believes he has recruited a man who can score goals for his side.

"I'm really pleased to bring Michael in to the club," Moore told Tranmere's official club website. "We're short on attacking options, so Michael is a welcome addition to the squad.

"I've watched him a few times and he's got pace and he can score goals. I'd like to thank Dougie Freedman for allowing Michael to join us for a month."

O'Halloran follows fellow Wanderer Gregg Wylde in leaving the Reebok Stadium on the final day of the loan window. Wylde joined Bury on a one-month loan deal earlier on Thursday.
