Bolton Wanderers have confirmed Curtis Fleming has joined the club in the role of first-team coach.

The 44-year-old follows new manager Dougie Freedman and assistant Lennie Lawrence in making the switch from Crystal Palace to the Reebok Stadium.

Lawrence took charge of Palace in Saturday's victory over Blackburn Rovers, before new boss Ian Holloway's reign at Selhurst Park began with a 5-0 demolition of Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.

A statement on Palace's official club website read: "Crystal Palace FC can confirm that Curtis Fleming has left the club to join Bolton Wanderers.

"The board would like to put on record their thanks to Curtis for his hard work, firstly as development coach and latterly as first team coach and would like to wish him well for the future."
