Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled himself out of the running to become the new manager at Bolton Wanderers.

Solskjaer has been one of the favourites to land the vacant post since Owen Coyle was sacked last Tuesday, with some reports suggesting Wanderers were willing to hold out until the end of the Norwegian season before landing their man.

However, the former Manchester United player and reserve team manager has admitted he isn't interested in becoming Trotters boss and also has no intention of filling the same position at Blackburn Rovers, who are also on the lookout for a new manager.

"There will always be speculation when someone in England needs a new manager," Solskjaer told Norwegian newspaper Romsdals Budstikke.

"There are surely 20 names who have been linked with Bolton now and it's natural that mine is among them, but it's not for me.

"Blackburn, Bolton - rumours crop up all the time, but I'm not that bothered about them.

"I'm absolutely certain I will see out the season here (Molde), I can promise that."
