Harry Redknapp has emerged as the fans' favourite to replace Owen Coyle as the next manager of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

Coyle was sacked on Tuesday as a result of Wanderers' poor start to the Championship campaign, having picked up just 11 points from their opening 10 games.

The search for his successor continues, with Redknapp topping our poll and proving to be the most popular choice with supporters.

Redknapp was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and is currently working in an advisory role at Bournemouth, where he began his managerial career in the 1980s.

Other names - and possibly more realistic ones - to feature high in our poll were Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mick McCarthy, Fernando Hierro and Alan Curbishley.
