Jay Spearing has been voted as Man of the Match by Bolton supporters, following the 2-1 win over Watford on Saturday.

Spearing was making his second appearance for the club since joining on a season-long loan from Liverpool on transfer deadline day.

He also won the vote on his debut against Hull City a fortnight ago and joins Chris Eagles as the only other player to have won the poll twice so far this season. Adam Bogdan is the only other Trotters player to have captured the award, having won the vote for the opening day defeat at Burnley.
