The emergency loan window has today opened to clubs in the Football League and Conference.

The transfer window closed last Friday, but clubs are once again able to add to their ranks if they gain approval from the Football League before completing a deal.

After releasing no fewer than 15 players over the summer, Bolton added the services of Matt Mills, Keith Andrews, Benik Afobe, Andy Lonergan, Joe McKee and Jay Spearing prior to August 31.

The emergency loan window will remain open until November 25, with Wanderers boss Owen Coyle likely to look into the market following his side's poor start to the season.
