Former Bolton midfielder Gael Kakuta will spend this season playing for Vitesse Arnhem, after completing a season-long loan move on transfer deadline day.

Kakuta is contracted to Chelsea until the summer of 2015, but has been loaned out for the fourth time in just over two years.

Having spent time at Fulham in 2010/11, the 21-year-old disappointed during a short loan spell at the Reebok Stadium last season, before linking up with French side Dijon for the second half of the campaign, where he scored four goals in 16 appearances.

Vitesse are unbeaten in their opening four games of the season and currently occupy second place in the Eredivisie, where they trail Steve McClaren's FC Twente by two points.
