Marvin Sordell has been called-up to the England Under-21 squad for their forthcoming games against Azerbaijan and Norway.

Sordell has been capped seven times at under-21 level and has scored twice under the stewardship of Stuart Pearce, who also selected the Wanderers forward for the Team GB Olympic Games squad earlier this summer.

Back-to-back wins over Azerbaijan and Norway would see England advance to the play-off stage of qualifying for the 2013 European Under-21 Championship Finals in Israel.

Here is the full squad for those games:

Goalkeepers: Ben Amos (Hull City), Declan Rudd (Norwich City), Jason Steele (Middlesbrough)

Defenders: Ryan Bennett (Norwich City), Steven Caulker (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Craig Dawson (West Bromwich Albion), Martin Kelly (Liverpool), Ben Marshall (Leicester City), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Adam Smith (Tottenham Hotspur)

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Thomas Ince (Blackpool), Henri Lansbury (Nottingham Forest), Jason Lowe (Blackburn Rovers), Josh McEachran (Middlesbrough), Jack Rodwell (Manchester City), Jonjo Shelvey (Liverpool), Wilfred Zaha (Crystal Palace)

Forwards: Nathan Delfouneso (Aston Villa), Marvin Sordell (Bolton Wanderers), Connor Wickham (Sunderland), Martyn Waghorn (Leicester City)
